Our Objectives

Throughout its activities, the FCFA aims to act as an agent of change in:

• Promoting the vitality and diversity of Canada's Francophone and Acadian communities, both nationally and internationally;
• Promoting the French presence and linguistic duality throughout the country;
• Developing a sense of belonging to the French language and culture;
• Defending the rights of French-speaking Canadians living in a minority situation;
• Strengthening ties between French-speaking Canadians and other groups in Canadian society;
• Supporting its members in the achievement of their mandate, for the good of all Francophones and Canadian society as a whole.
